This poll was obviously fixed, I was watching the results as they came in, and they were nothing like you have printed here.. Why dont you read the extremely positive comments on the BBC messages boards, and see how well Aled was received. He did a excellent job, and Ive heard he might even be taking over the Dawn Patrol programme, what will you do then Debby?

Is there an echo in here? you pathetic loosers. Aled Jones is a piece of useless sh1t and if that useless cow Lesley Douglas does give him that slot, I've finsihed with Radio 2 permanently. She's already ruined the evening lineup and Janice Long's show, so who knows what she's capable of?
Anyway, back to the subject of Aled, He's welsh for a start, so that's done nothing for him. He thinks everything he comes out with is witty and intelligent and laughs at his own jokes.
The sooner he goes back to doing sheep from behind, the better!
One thing that is so noticeable in the messages: every time that Debby starts her silly and unecessary attacks on Aled, those who post objecting to this express themselves in reasoned, polite language and make sensible points, and any who come on to attack him uses unpleasant language with unpleasant implications - which say far more about the poster(s) than the message they write does about Aled.
Does it really? I can't stand Aled Jones, and now I see he is to take Ken Bruce's slot next week. Can't radio 2 find anyone more suitable (Richard Allinson, Lynn Parsons, Mark Radcliffe to name but a few). Come on, what is the deal with the 80's hasbeen Aled Jones? BAA! BAA!, is that his sheep I hear?

Yes, I totally agree with this - and the last poster exactly proves the point. OK, so you can't stand Aled Jones - fair enough, no reason why you should like him. But your last sentence has ruined an otherwise perfectly acceptably worded post, and it certainly says more about you than about Aled.
