Just wanted to wish Sarah a very happy birthday for tomorrow.
Still miss you on the radio very much and have abandoned radio 2 because of the way they treated you.

Lots of love

Loved your show Sarah. No-one else comes anywhere near you as a broadcaster. Pity Radio 2 can't admit they made a BIG MISTAKE and beg you to come back, any time of any day to suit you and they might then get back all the listeners who abandoned them when you went.

Hello Sarah
No longer listening to Radio 2. Who wants to listen to RAW AMBITION from you know who so early in the morning.Miss you.

From a young dawn patroller and presumbly from the age group the present presenter is aimed at!!!

I really miss Sarah's morning show, it was like having a friend chatting away. I now no longer wake up to radio 2 I'm afraid.

Missing you Sarah, mornings are not the same without a friend chatting about whatever is happening every day. I no longer wake to Radio 2.

I miss Sarah too. I no longer listen to Radio 2 in the morning since she left.

I always enjoyed the way Sarah sounded that she was talking just to ME. Gentle, amusing and interesting. You are missed.

I too have abandoned Radio 2 now we can't hear your delightful morning banter. Bunty, you were always a treat and Evans is total rubbish. The BBC wants it head examined. Love Sally.

Dear Sarah - can't begin to say how much we miss you on air. I am now a Radio 4 or Classic FM person. Radio 2 did the dirty and we don't forgive and forget.
Hope you are well and happy, you deserve it, but life is not so cheerful in the mornings without you. When I was not feeling my best after cancer treatment in hospital you read out a letter from my sister, sending love to me. I told you about my husband arriving at the hospital, beige shorts, beige shirt, beige socks and one dark blue and one beige trainer - bless him. He sends his love as does my sister and her family. Sue, her sister and families.

I no longer listen to radio 2 as it is not the same without sara kennedy to wake me up. Please please can we have the dawn patrol back. I don't care what sara did I just want a gentle wake up in the mornings, not that loud mouthed ginger nob.

Most of the programmes on BBB feature presenters talking AT an audience, with a succession of regulation comments; your programme was like being part of a cozy chat amongst a few close friends.

I agree that you have left a big hole in our lives. We no longer swiitch the radio on while we drink our morning cup of tea. You are an ace broadcaster and we hope we can find you on some other station soon.

Sorely missed. No more "Bumps in the front" etc. I to no longer listen to early morning radio 2. Come on girl, take a big breath, get back on the radio where you belong. Whatever, be safe and happy. Nick.

I sorely miss SK, Radio 2 is just rubbish on a morning from 5am. That VF is total and absolute c..p! My job now does not allow me to listen from 6.30am any longer so can't comment on CE but Sarah was wondrous in the extreme. Please BBC bring her back and get rid of the garbage that has replaced her earlier on a morning.

You just never fitted into Blair's Broadcasting Company, when it became that. And it still is. You only have to listen to the biased rubbish from twelve to two to see how bent the lot of it is.The world is going mad, we're completely unable to make jokes for fear of upsetting someone now. What makes it worse is we're all taxed to finance this lot through the TV licence. Something most people wouldn't mind paying if we really did get a balanced public service broadcaster.

One of the wittiest, knowledgeable, kind, funny and sunny personalities I have ever had the pleasure listening to. You made every full day bearable, the biggest loss the BBC has ever had. We miss you sara, and I couldn't agree more with all of the previous remarks about your replacements, absolute crap!!! Hope you and the much beloved are enjoying life, and thankyou for all
you have given us.

I wish only the very best for you Sarah. Like so many posting here, I no longer listen to radio 2. I woke up to you in the morning and you chatted to me from the passenger seat as I drove to work.

Chris Evens is just an overpaid gob on a stick and after you left then radio 2 is just downhill with no brakes. I am satisfied now that you were "seen off" by the BBC by the way they messed about with you schedule. All designed to cheese you off and wear you down.

I was a dawn patroller and I wish I had a badge.

You made the early morning routine of getting up and getting on with the day bearable and I thank you for that.
Best wishes for the future. You have earned it in spades.

I agree with all the above. Radio 2 is absent in the mornings now. Isn't it about time S.K. appeared on 'Loose Women' so everybody can be reminded what a cheery, truthful, breath of spring person she is?

LoL

I thought it was just me that went into mourning when Sarah Kennedy was taken off the air. I used to wake up most mornings too early, and think Oh good, I'll turn the radio on, and see what Sarah is up to. Then followed by Terry's dolcette tones, it made my day, every day. Vanessa just rattles my brain, she rabbits on so fast. And with such a load of rubbish. Chris Evans must just have a relative in the Beeb, as he just has to say he fancies running a show, and he is in! It was the Golden age of radio, when Sarah and Terry were on. Come back Sarah, or perhaps make a CD, specially for all your fans.

Seems like a lot of you are missing the "Boy Chorister" Christmas Song...

Well, I've just done a bit of digging through my archives, and have found him! He's now on YouTube here for you to enjoy!
