PRESCOTT AFFAIR: CALL HIM 'JOHNNY TWO SHAGS'
RADIO 2's Sarah Kennedy dropped herself in it yesterday, joking about Mr Prescott as "Two Shags".
The presenter, left, thanked a listener to her early morning show for suggesting the Deputy PM change his "Two Jags" nickname to "Two Shags". Stifling a giggle, she chortled: "...stop it!" and quickly signed off.
One shocked caller rang Wogan to ask guest host Johnnie Walker: "Did I really hear Sarah say that?"
Another listener who heard Johnnie confirm it said: "What a thoughtless remark. It's a funny joke but there's a time and place for that sort of language and it isn't when kids are having breakfast."
Radio 2 said: "It was a light-hearted play on words and it was certainly not Sarah's intention to cause offence."

Hi Sarah, listen to your programme from six thirty weekdays and really enjoy.
Frogspawn, usually spawning takes place on Valentines Day, this year it happened on the 13th of march, a month late. We had six batches.
Did you know it is only the male frog that makes the croaking noise? Some of my friends had none having had frogs dying last year of a disease. Mine have all hatched now, so sadly your teacher listener is to late for this year.
